Authanic Wire

Authanic wire makes attaching pike flies to your nylon trace easy. It is flexible, and can be knotted directly onto the fly, or to make changing the fly even easier, knot it onto a snap link. Make a loop in the other end and attach it loop to loop to your cast.

The best trace wire for fishing pike flies is now available in 2 new strengths - 20.5kg, and 27.3kg. These heavier breaking strains are a bit stiffer, and therefore help to turnover heavier pike flies - but they are still supple enough to tie directly to the fly, or onto link clips.
